Zoom Pro is primarily a web-based videoconferencing system. In addition to videoconferencing, Zoom is a powerful tool that can also be used to host online office hours, to create screencast recordings, to provide auto-transcriptioning for instructional videos, for tutoring sessions with shared whiteboards, and even lecture capture. As such, it provides flexibility and learning opportunities for instructors and learners to interact in face-to-face, blended and online learning environments. Zoom has a simple, graphical user interface and is supported by ITS via the Building Support Technicians and the Learning Technology Team.
