Requesting a Non-Banner Course Shell
Blackboard Courses come in two “flavors”. Banner courses – which are those grade-bearing, academic courses automatically generated when a course will be offered in a given semester. And non-Banner courses – which are individually requested courses that have no enrolled students and no auto-end date. Non-Banner courses are not grade-bearing and can be requested by faculty or staff. These can be used for student staff management & communication, practicing and prepping an upcoming course, committee records, and a wide variety of other applications.
